Do you want to change the way you look and feel?
If so you need to know whats going on,
You need to know what’s working and whats holding you back.
But that’s impossible to clearly define unless you gain control.
Without control, you cant change anything!
No more so is this true than in the case of health and transforming your body.
But too few realise this because they are always in a rush to get results.
I’ve written/spoke about this quite a few times.
That’s why I rate Pilates as one of the best methods to transform your body, improve the way you move and for correcting imbalances.
Cross fit and all those WOD’s ( workout of the day ) are great,
but how many people are running themselves into the ground,
by develop shocking form and getting better at cheating their way through a movement/exercise.
I see it all the time,
being able to run a marathon, or squat 220kg aren’t proof that you are doing well.
They are simply a result of practicing something for long enough to get good and stronger.
Are you moving better, can it be maintained?
What are you left with once you stop,
A stronger ( weaker in other areas) more imbalanced body.
Perhaps a hormonal system that’s just about hanging in there?
Get better at moving, learn to control your body.
That gives you a greater chance of developing a body that’s more in alignment and balanced.
So improve your movement control and you have strength!
Which equals you being more capable of transforming your body in the first place.
Unless of course you just want to look great for the beach,
But these are frequently the types of goals that leave you worse off than when you started.
